Keely Tolley
Wife, Mother, Realtor, Volunteer, Organizer, Fundraiser, Outdoor Adventurer
To know me is to know my passion for living and loving life to its fullest, sharing, caring, and
helping people in any way I possibly can. I reside in Huntingtown with my husband, Gregg,
raising our three children, Alyssa (19yrs), Kaitlyn (16yrs), and Cody (12yrs), working as a
Realtor with RE/MAX 100 in Dunkirk, and volunteering my time to organize and participate
in fundraisers and events for charity and special causes throughout Calvert County. I’m an
outdoor enthusiast and adventurer at heart, fishing and scuba diving whenever I can or simply
relaxing to appreciate the wonders and beauty of nature.
Campaign to become crowned Queen of United Way’s 2012 Mardis Gras
Charity has always been a part of my life’s work. Helping people gives me a satisfied,
peaceful, happy, euphoric feeling and is my ultimate “high.” Over the years, I have organized
several fundraisers for local families to support medical expenses, needed home repairs, food,
and Christmas gifts for their children and was amazed at the goodness and generosity of
people willing to help. As a member of Emmanuel Church in Huntingtown, I have supported
community outreach projects with United Way partner agencies such as the Arc of Southern
Maryland.
United Way
The United Way of Calvert County is a local organization dedicated to make lasting changes
in lives of people through the generosity of individuals, small businesses, and corporations.
This year, accompanied by my companion Chihuahua Cinnamon, I’m campaigning for Queen
of United Way’s 2012 Mardis Gras event. To become crowned Queen, we must raise the most
votes and this is made possible only through financial contributions where EACH DOLLAR
contributed in our name (“Keely & Cinnamon”) counts as ONE VOTE for us.
Campaign Events
For part of my Mardi Gras campaign, I plan to organize one major fundraising event per
month to include “Flamingo Flockings,” a Pre-Holiday Open House, and raffle, and will be
keeping my Web site updated with future event information as it becomes available.
As Queen of United Way’s 2012 Mardis Gras, I hope to continue my community awareness
and outreach through the United Way of Calvert County to benefit the many families in need
in our community.
